I just was browsing through my PM box and I really had a load of old stuff in it. I haven`t count them but believe me there were a lot of them. So.... I cleaned The whole box.
I don`t exactly know what the Influence of a full PM box is on the site speed but it only can get better.
I know there are a lot of people who clean it every week and for those who don`t it might be an idea to do a cleaning too. Keep the site as good and clean as is.

Ok Faust, I'm a huge pack rat and had pms from over a year ago. I doubt I'd ever look at any of them again. Of course now that I've deleted them I'll need one tomorrow. In which case I'm going to come looking for you. :-)

I'm all for the site working as good as it can.

I deleted all of them without reading them again...
Now we'll have to wait for the moment, I'm gonna regret it like Halfyank said....

OK.... here's a really dumb question.....
I don't know how to get to my PM box........
now don't laugh, I get PM's and answer them, but once I leave, I can never find out how to get there again until I get another PM.........

just click on the "my account" on the top right side of the page, then under the "this is you personal page...." you click on it and go to your PM's its kind of complicated(hint,hint)

If you look at the top right corner of each page,just to the right of the clock there is what looks like an envelope.Just click on that and it'll take you straight to your pm's.

but did find the PM's when I clicked on the space next to the clock.....

It took me quite a while to start using the PM when I started at this site but when I used it once it became something normal for me.

mine are all deleted now I don't feel popular anymore :-)
