Hi,
I completed the DUKW about 2 weeks ago with Eduard PE parts. Actually, the kit is not bad. With the aid of "Hold & Fold" I bended the PE parts more easily.
Here are the photos:

Lookin great Sushi. The extra details have definately given you Duck an extra edge. The cockpit especially looks cool. What company provided the resin cargo. This should be a joy to paint the nettings. Cant wait to see the whole thing painted. The only thing I can see that might need some workis the drainholes along the sides. Theseshould be filled in, to portray a WW2 model!

Plasticbattle,
Thanks for your comments, about the drainholes you mentioned along the sides. I have added the PE parts along the sides, do you mean that? If not, I would appreciate it if you could show me the way.

You can see one side here with all the holes filled with grey putty. These were only introduced after the war to stop the side panels rusting! Hopefully the picture explains what Im talking about! All the best!

Lord Sushi aka "Da Squid"
Steve, you have been busy---very very good work here. The pe work is really crisp and sharp. You've managed to place a lot of very small pe parts very cleanly showing no glue marks--nice work
Love the load. I assume its a resin am set of some sort? Looks great back there. As Frank mentioned the console and cockpit area is well done.
Another great looking Sushi creation

nice work. I built my DUKW with the PE set as well and made the boo boo with the drainage holes, but as I did not realise it until it was painted I had to leave them as is. You are also right about the kit it is not too bad a kit.
