As early site members know, I use to love passing mile-stones. Now they come and go without much fan-fare. But I thought that this one deserved a bit of a celebration. It has been just a bit over 2 1/2 years since this sites inception. And in that time it has been my pleasure to manage and run the site. Of course I have not done this alone. I would like to thank everyone who has helped out and continues to do so. This site is truly a "team effort".

For all those "new" members, I would like to welcome you aboard. Sure things are not quite as "cozy" as the early days. But I like to think we are still open to hearing from everyone about what they like about the site, what they would like to see, and what they don't like.

So fire away gang. It's your party.

Big cheers,
Jim

Well his user ID is 5032, but "knight" is member #5000.

There have been a number of test memberships or mistakes and those account for the other 30 or so numbers.

Congratulations to Jim, the old salts, and the new guys and girls. I was hoping I was number 5000, so I could make a case for meritorious PFC, since my sleeve is bare. What I like about this site best is nobody makes you feel like you have to "pay your dues", so to speak. There is a warm, friendly, helpful feel here that reflects good, sound leadership with tact. Thank you for expanding my hobby, Armarama is a blessing to me! Feel like I've been here much longer than three weeks or so.

It's the great work that you have done on this site, Jim, that has gotten all of the folks here together and wanting to stay. (Are you serving breakfast in the morning??????)
Let's hope that the site keeps going at the rate that it has had and becomes the ultimate site on the net!

I just wanted say CONGRATS to everyone involved in running this website. In my personal opinion, this is the best modelling website on the web. It has something for everyone, all the different catogories and if you have questions there are plenty of people to help you out. THANKS again for everyones hard work , you should feel a great sense of pride in what you have provided to the modelling community, I visit this site everyday and will continue to do so, Wingman out.

Rob,
Yeah they are in there. But I think we only have 10 or less banned user accounts. That's not too bad really.
