Dose anyone have access to photos of the M-983 Heavy Tractor? I have searched all over the net and I can't find any photos of this truck.

No I didn't know there was a kit out there. I and doing a kit bash/conversion/scratch build of one using the Italeri Kit. I will have to check out a source for the kit though. Thanks for the photos guys.

Hi Dave,
I have some good pics from this HEMTT.
I post them on my webshots page (in a private album), with this you can make something good.
You can also download the electronic TM on Logsa site
Cheers

NO I didn't buy it, just ran across it and thought it looked like a pretty neat looking vehicle. That's why I don't know if it's a kit of the tractor, or just the wheel.
But it was one of the photos in the link posted by Jurgen.

NImix makes a 1/35 kit, it is very nice but a littel heavy handed in places. I bought mine about 6 years ago. It can be found at R & J products and Red Lancers.

There is also a set of photos out onthe net, I cannot place them right now, that shows a Nimix kit and a Italeri kit being bashed together to build a better M983. Look for it listed as a M988.

Here is some help for the real deal:

Howdy fellas,

Oh uh!......what is animal up to now!?!.......

Some great pics there guys. And while we're on the subject, I don't suppose anybody has any sites/pics of the HEMMT Model 48 with fully articulated chassis??

Oops!......I probably shouldn't have mentioned that vehicle while animal is listening, he'll build one up in a couple of days!

Tread.
