Hi all,
I hope this isn't agianst the rules. But I started my Sherman today (its the 1st of August) It is a M4A1 75mm large hatches. The turret is from Italeris Marines Sherman and the hull is from Italeris M4A1 76 kit.
It will be going on the base you see it on.
All comments welcome.

Keep us posted!

Rick:Thanks I have seen that model it is very good I have used it a lot for refrence when doing the armour.

Hey Andy, since the 75mm large hatched M4A1 is such a popular topic perhaps you should consider taking more pics of your work in progress and possibily write up an article. I know it would help answer the always reoccuring question, "Can I swap a Tamiya M4A3 turret with the Italeri M4A1 hull?"
Although I have seen a tweaks list and the finished work, I have not seen a work in progress article on this particular vehicle.

Lord Kiwi
Cool. Tell us about your plans for the dio base and back drop. It looks like you've done quite a bit of planning and building the base already at this point. What' s the scoop?

Alan: That is a good Idea I might just do that. i will begin taking notes on each stage I do.
Steve: the idea is to have the tank moving down a street in France just after the invasion i may have a couple of G.I's moving with it.
