I made the T-34 from Dragon. I still need to do some things like the headlights and markings and some final weathering.
I promised my girlfriend to make an winter scene but I forgot to add an white wash Is that still possible or shall I leave it like this and add some snow?
If you can help me......
Comments etc. are very welcome. Enjoy the pics.

Hi Jurjen:
Awsome job & paintwork you´ve done with that kit. It looks very nice.
In another post here I read that the fit of the entire kit is very good, the same with yours ?

Yup, the kit was fun to build. The most parts fittes perfectly exept for the motor hatch. I read somewhere that this kit part came from an other dragon kit. But that was the only thing I had some trouble with.

how did you paint the tracks?
First I gave the tracks a matt black coat applied by airbrusch. Then I applied some simple dark brown oil washes. Then I highlighted the tracks with Vallejo super silver. It was quite easy to do
Thanks for the replies!

Hi, Always a pleasure seeing your work. Very nice, very nice indeed. Ever consider doing one of Trumpeter's big T-34s? It would be extremely interesting to see what you could do with one of those. Thanks for the comment on how you did your tracks. Am going to try the black base coat on some of mine and see if I can get something close.
Thanks and take care, Sgirty

Hallo Jurjen. Nice work on your T-34/76 M1941 ! I do like the worn-off white wash effect you have going. Very well-done.
Are you planning a diorama ? Send more pics if you are.
Greetz !

I like both finishes. Both looked really nice nice in their own right. The first was perfect the way it was. Now with the white wash it needs a few touch ups. If theres one place the white wash will dissapear from first, its the tracks. I personally think they could do with a nice dirty oil wash.. even some satin varnish mixed in to give them a wet look. Include the running gear and lower hull as well. With only the reminents of the white wash left, one would think it was wet and wintery. The dusty dry wheels feel a little out of season!
Will you add a base? A vehicle that is nicely weathered like thisdeserves a small base and let the base continue the weathering theme!
About markings ... I would forget about them at this stage. It will be hard to blend them in with the weathering that is. It was quite common that these had no markings anyway! Good luck!
