Okay...so I was notified last night that the hard-drive and OS installation they did on Wednesday was not working out. Something about an unstable kernal. That's LINUX kernal to you folks that think I am talking about corn.
So they installed another new drive and updated the OS to the newest kernal. I then restored the backups from Tuesday. So yes everything posted on Wednesday/Thursday (about 6-8hrs?) was lost. Sorry about that.
Hopefully we are back to our normal stable running conditions now though.
Cheers,
Jim

OH NO.....
a new movie..... "The Lost 6 hours"
sure to be a classic ... along the same lines as "The Lost Weekend".
Boo---- Hooo... in those 6 hours I made Chief..... then got busted back to E-6..... LOL... just like my real Navy career.... up one, down one..... LOL
Nice to have the site up and running again.
Thanks for all the hard work getting the site up again Jim, now relax and take the wife out to dinner.

Howdy Jim...fellas,
Good to have the site back up...again Many thx as usual go to our big 'Kahuna' for all his unheralded efforts behind the scenes pulling levers and turning the gears that keep this site running.
Heck, the down time actually allowed me to catch up on my "Incoming!!" entry!
Many thx again Jim.

Hooty Ho! We're back up. Thanks for all your dedication. I actually found myself going to other sites trying to find info that I know I'd always find here and I kept trying the site every 15 minutes hoping I had some magical power to bring it back.

Thanks Jim for the outstanding work behind the scenes.I think it's safe to say we all love you for it. THANKS AGAIN
Like most people I went to other site to find out what had happen because I was going through withdrawl myself.
I didn't know how important this site was until I could not use it.
Like the OLD saying ;
"You don't know how much you appreciate something till it's gone"
Thanks again I can not say it enough
Happy Modeling
