I just want to show you my latest project, Revell's new M-60A3 in the 1:72 scale.
It was buildt almost OOB, and painted as a U.S CMTC 7ATC vehicle, seen at Hohenfels in 1995.

I really liked this kit, it was fun and easy to build (Just what I'm going after at the moment!)
And I'm quite satified with the result!

I hope you like it!

I got more photos at my website in the model gallery section:

Clausen, You have done an absolutly spectacular job on this tank, It looks awesome, it could pass easily for 35th, and maybe even larger, its awesome. How did you do the streaking on the turret? Your weathering is great. How long did it take you to build it. Congrats on the great job!

Thanks WAR-TOOL! The streaking was made with oil paint – I used a little amount of oil on the spots from where I wanted the streaking to begin - And then I used a little turpentine on a brush to smear the oil paint down the side of the turret.

Dude, that is NICE! What did you use for the over all green? Did you have any trouble cleaning up the seam between the barrel halves? I had some trouble with that on mine.

Bjorn, really, really nice work We are unfortunately not seeing enough of vehicles in this scale.

I'm also pleased to see some pics of the M60 built - last month I was at the point of buying one in England, came back the following day and they had sold out

I don't know where I had heard it was a good kit, but now after seeing yours its confirmed!....Jim

Looks good. I have a couple in the build pile too. Your headlights look well done, I would have added some clear material (like white glue) to the driver's periscopes.

The old searchlight mounting balls look a little too rusty. Those things didn't really rust too much. They were basically the same as civilian trailer hitch balls.

The heater exhaust pipe should be either rust colored or at the very least very faded green since the heat effects the color almost from the first time the heater is run.

I like the way you removed a mud flap as well. It adds some character to the vehicle.

Well done M60 here.

I am curious on how you achieved your overall OD look. What Olive Drab paint did you use, and have you added some yellow to the olive drab to achieve that faded look? Looks very good sir.

In "Real" Life these vechicles are painted overall NATO Green. Damn I want to get one now and do a dio with it with one of Dragon's M2A2 kits...my last CTMC rotation I did in the Active Army, we went up against these vechicles. Just be fun doing the MILES gear in 1/72
