Here are the first pics of my M36B1 kitbash,I've built the Academy turret and fitted it to the Italeri M4A3 hull.

Looks like you are well under way ...It's going to be a really nice kit once finished ..Talk about a mean little Sherman!! :-) So how does the interior fit to the Italeri kit? I guess you still have a long way to go ..keep us updated as you go..

Test dry fittings indicate that the parts of the Academy interior I'm planning on using will drop in quite nicely.As they say watch this space.

All I had to do was open the hole out a bit and the turret just dropped in.

Hi Guys

All I had to do was shave off a couple of ribs on the insides of the hull and she went straight in.
More updates when I return from a weeks holiday.
