This is the bergepanzer I have been woking on, it is based off of the tamiya pzIII chasis. I scratched the shurzen and brackets, rear jerry can holder and wooden cover over the turret opening. It has a lot more work to be done, there is still the jib crane and on vehicle stowage plus the weathering to do. Hopefully will be finished in a few months. Comments welcome please.
Best Regards,
Robert Beebe

Robert Another great job. Your painting is fantastic.
My only question is how are the shurtzen hung? I see the rails but i see no brackets on them. Are they glued to the rails?
The shurtzen usually hung from triangles attached to the rails or pegs that allowed them to fall away if they got caught up or, to be removed if the track needed repair.

Hi Max,
Don't see too many berges' so two at once is pretty rare, the yellow is tamiya xf-59 with buff and white added to different degrees, I don't have a specific mix, just what looks good to me. Your bergepanther looks really good. Do you plan on putting it in a dio or just stand alone?

Hi Scott,
Thanks, I was pretty happy with the camo also, the schurzen is actually not attached yet, it is just hanging on the supports for the picture, it will be attached with the triangular style brackets. I have a few pictures of what I suppose are field modifications where the schurzen is simply bolted to the arm brackets. If I can dig them I will post them when I can.
Best Regards,

Nice work on your Bergepanzer III. Camo does look real good. I esp like the "field expedient" conversion appearence to this kit.
Decals and markings look cool to, and that 24th Panzer Divison symbol is really neat !
Send more pics as you proceed. Not often you see an early version Bergepanzer III !!
Cheers !!

Nice work on the paintjob.
About the schurtzen its possible that they are attached with bolts and nuts, I have also some pictures of this, and a complete diferend configuration of the schurtzen.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Scott,
I plan on having the jib lifting the pzIII engine from Calibre 35. A real nice piece of resin that is is a miniature model in itself.
