Finally...say halleluja..I am nearing completion on this beast. These will be the last photos until its all together. To this point , my 3rd dio, I am very happy with the way it's turning out.. Hope ya like it!

Stop teasing us. LOL. . I can't wait to see it finished. The old couple and the farm house came out beautiful. I like the way the grass is torn up in the pasture in front of the house. The fence and animals really turned out nice. Now to see the clubmobile and troops in place... Don't keep us waiting too long Pleaseeeeeee.

I have to echo Daves' comments. Fantastic work John but please stop teasing us and hurry up and finish the beasty

Really, beautiful base. Love the sheer curtains- what'd you use? Was the hayrick scratched or part of a kit?

Thanks so much all! I'll try to answer some questions here..

The curtains were cut from a fabric that came on a gift basket..one of those things you grab and hold and hope someday will come in handy.

The hay-rake, along with the chair, Axe , wood pile , hay holder? were all scratch built.

The grass is a mix of 2 color, run of the mill, static grass.

The glue under the asses hooves.....is glue!

John, I have been watching you progress with this dio since the first time you posted on it. It is turning out really impressive. I think you captured farm life to a tee on this. I only have two suggestions for you, take them for what they are only my 2 cents. First I would do something with the tree by the chopping block, give it a little wood bark color, to gte rid of the tan and the green from the leaves, and second I would do a little dry brushing of the dirt paths and the road. These are the only to areas I feel need more attention. I commend you on a fine diorama and cant wait to see everything in place. Cheers Kevin

Kevin, After seeing the macro shot of the tree..nice advice. The ground work is one step away, I,m just waiting to get everything placed before I do a final dusting. I hope to pull it all together that way.

Looks GREAT!!! However, I can find one fault, you have a load of recently split wood, yet no chips.And the logs you have for splittiing would be impossible, it would take forever. I suggest cutting it down a bit, but this must be one of the best dios I've seen yet.

Maybe you can build a horsecart in the diorama (an acceptable option if I understand the rules correctly) and enter the horsecart as your Move It entry. There just happens to be a clubmobile in the horsecart dio

Dave, Thanks..I noticed that after the photos..chips will be added. As far as to large..If I put a figure next to them ( thats how I determined size) They are not that large..Being I have a fireplace and split wood with only my axe ..I've split larger. Ya split wat ya got

Badman, The muddy looking soil was done with tile thinset and then a dowel used for the hoof impressions.. Thanks for the kind remark.
