I have the M48 avlb from Hobbyfan and it's nice. Only its of a variant I've not seen much of . It has the late lauanching mechanism and 60 ft. bridge but on an M48 chassis. I believe ther is an Austrailian Out fit htat make a full M60 Avlb kit sraight from the box . AEF makes an M728.

I'd like to see a Staghound in plastic. as well as a Mobile HAWK on M113 chassis.

To go along with all the other engineer stuff someone needs to do a modern dozer, D7G, ripper and winch equiped would be perfect. The M9 Acewould be nice also.

Way back when I was an enlisted man in the National Guard, my platoon's AVLB was on an M48 chassis. Not much difference in the bridge mount and controls. I do remember being instructed that the M60 AVLB had one less lever than the M48 AVLB.

Hobbyfan has the M9 ACE out. Looks good in the box...haven't started on it yet. A styrene one would be even better.

Hey what can I say...my wish has been answered. The M19 was just put out by CMK. I know it's a resin kit but, it's now out. And with the OT I'm getting this month, she'll soon be on her way home to me.

Josh, Accurate Armour makes 3 flavors of the Staghound. The Mk I, the AA, and the Mk III. All are resin kits but, they're out there.

The Australian manufacturer Shiryon mentioned is Atlas Models They make a wide range of bridgelayers and some artillery pieces to.

Read from Track-Link, the service of Atlas seems is not too good.

well yes and no..some major things were released waaayyy back when and only recently updated. Tamiya's Panther A with the wrong number of roadwheels was replaced with the lukewarm Italeri offering, and now finally with a single variant -so far- by DML.

On the list I tried to type yest. but got shut out of the network...
I had sdkfz 251 UHU IR , Falke and Pak40. Yes all these kits exist in resin, but as nice as the Rand J kit is, it is not high up on the buildable scale.
The 234/4 w pak40 from Italeri has a bogus gun cradle/mount.
And I'm glad that I'm not an old PzIV D fan, because the old Tamiya kit isn't up to date.

But my list had..

Decent Tamiya-quality T55 interior or not, but get the @#$!#$ exterior right first.
" Centurion
PT76
BTM (or whatever the T72-T90 based urban assault vehicle is..tasty!) I'm away from my new Concord book, so I mis-remember the designation.
PACV hovercraft
IDF Nagmash and Puma
US Vietnam era 5t truck so I can do those cool guntrucks w the m113 hull in the back.
Hind d/e/f/ (on the way from Trumpeter, I know)
Tunguska... hang in there a little while longer Skif and @#%@#$!#$ get it right.

I'll try to keep this list short:

- Char B1
- Char D
- new BMPs (up to today's standard's)
- maybe some plastic versions of early Panzer IIIs and IVs
- some of the wild engineering and experimental version of the BT-5 & BT-7 (these of course would have to be resin conversions)
- a decent SU-76
- a new (read this as good) T-37, T-38, T-27, T-30, and T-40

All wanted in injection-molded styrene:

DUKW -- Italeri, where is it? Better yet, Skybow?

U.S. Halftracks -- I know Tamiya did some kits, but they really need an update.

U.S. SP guns based on the HVSS Sherman -- M40 and M43.

Canadian "Grizzly" with proper CDP tracks.

Towed 40mm Bofors.

I'd also like a DD Sherman in injection-molded styrene, DJ.

How is Skif's BMP-3?

Didn't DML do a good PzKpw III series? May be all late variants, but I do recall seeing a DAK variant.

Sabot,

I don't know how good the Skif BMP-3 is. I guess I should have been more specific and said a new BMP-1 and BMP-2 (maybe a DML retool) :-)

DML did from the Panzer III Ausf E. on up. I would like to see plastic versions of the Panzer III Ausf A - D and plastic versions of the Panzer IV A-C and maybe a Tamiya retool of the Panzer IV Ausf D/E kit of theirs.

What's wrong with Tamiya's M-3 Lee/Grant?

1. Turret on Lee is incorrect
2. Rear deck, rear armor plate and exhausts, etc. are for an M3A2 (diesel) and not a radial powered M3.
3. And the infamous track

Yes there are correction kits, but, why do I have to pay for a kit with so many errors. I can understand if I want differnt markings, track, 75mm gun tube, different hull (M3A1 cast, M3A3 welded, M3A4 GM 5-block engine, etc.) But why can't we get a simple, correct M3?

okay i'll bite, here goes:
1. 10.5cm leFH18/40
2. 15cm FK18
3. 8.8cm PAK 43 L/70
4. Italian troops in plastic
5. Hungarian troops in plastic
6. good Luftwaffe Field Division troops in plastic and resin.
7. also, good Finnish troops in plastic
8.

Gimme a 1:35 scale M-22 "Locust"... the little seldom seen WWII tank used for paraglider drops. Kinda neat looking.

Would also like to see more JAPANESE NAVEL and INFANTRY figures in 1:35... there is only one box from Tamiya i know of, and a few resin pieces.... would really like to see about two dozen so I could pick and chose!

Also - how bout some 1:35 scale civilian auto's and delivery trucks that we could use for our dioramas! Maybe a ford delivery truck, or some renault passenger cars?

DJ, Accurate Armour made a staghound and I've built most of it. It's one of their earlier kits and a bit rough around the edges it's also OOP. You might be able to find one around though or special order it through AA. I didn't like it as much for the roughness of the casting and the use of white metal for springs and axles( I just don't like White Metal).
