Hi folks,

I was browsing on a few other modeling sites (schame on me #:-) ) and I noticed a few dioramas and discussions about hedgerows

I realised that the concept Bocage terrain and hedgerows seems somewhat strange to visualise to some of our younger builders who may not even live in Europe (not that hedgrows don't exist anywhere else)

So to give some idea of the Normandy hedgerow terrain I added some pictures to my nature reference section about this terrain.

Even though I know about bocage country I thought they were all just neat yet thick criss crossing over the fields. I didn't realize that some of it was so overgrown with regular trees and that the roads in between were sometimes little more that dirt 2 track trails. Learn somethings new everyday

Just noticed this and love the deep fallows of these hedgerows. Now I will have to look at Scenic Express cataloge more and wonder if I can simulate one of these real Bocages in small scale.
