Hey guys....
Just a quick question; Can anyone write reviews or is it usually a select few who does them? I'm in the very early stage of building Flightpaths new Flaps, Slats and Spoilers set in 1/32 for the Revell Tornado. This set is pretty impressive, made from nickel silver. I'd be happy to write an initial "out of the box" review and add to it my progress building it.

cheers

Go for it Matt. The more reviews, the more we learn.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Of course you can write reviews.... anyone can... that's the best part of Armorama......
We have no select few.......
that's the other site that does that.

On the Home page there is a section about submissions..... and how to do it.

Anyone can write them, it's just the matter of how writing is to you. For some, writing a review is a 5 minute deal but I generally don't like writing and it takes me much longer to forumlate my thoughts.

My advice is, go ahead!

As stated, anyone can write a review. To make it easier for the editors, write your review using a word processing program like MS Word first. Then once it is relatively error free, submit it using the form. You can just cut and paste from your document into the form.

Make sure you include any links to photos that you want to in the review. There are content albums for this.

One of the big things is to write clearly. Make sure you use paragraphs. I've seen many folks just type what appears to be one long continuous sentence that ultimately is almost impossilble to read or to follow and comprehend just like the sentence I just wrote.

We don't expect to get reviews that look like they were written by English majors. We do expect to get reviews written by someone with a basic mastery or the written language though. Well written reviews will get posted quicker because the editor will not have to do as much editing, rewriting or contacting you regarding corrections.

Have fun and do not let anything I've said discourage you.

Matt, what also helps,is to take notes. While I was building my T-34/76 Mod 1940,I did just that.
Later, when you sit to type it up,you will be able to "tell the story " easier. (++) (++)

Review sent....now we just need to hope the editor doesn't spill his coffee all over his keyboard while laughing at my bad use of English. While it is my first and only language I still often feel alienated by it. lol
