Guys,
finally i finished my dios, it was my Opel Dios and after all the inputs , i change the title to " Arguing", from you as you can see 4 soldiers arguing about the way.
i know it still far from great, and i still have difficulitties paint the figure specialy the eyes, that was frustating. and this is my last diorama for this year, cause i have a plan to back to my country& holiday next December, up to now i only have i kit left that i should finish it before December.
as always comments are the most welcome

I wouldn't sweat anything. Your painting is fine, excellent I would even say. 'Perfect' figures come only from many years of practice.

Hi Ricky, I really like your dio. I have just a few suggestions for you to make your dio a little better. You did a great job on trees, vehicles, groundwork and figures. I especially like your camo figure. Camo patterns make me nuts #:-) and I think you did a great job there. first I would add a touch of a dark wash in that same camo figures mouth. While also on the figures I would add a dark gray-black wash on the helmets and a bit of drybrushing there. Also get an lead pencil and add some scrapes on the gas cans. its very easy to do with a pencil lead And finally on the edges of your ground work either paint it a dark color or add some kind of border trim. Now these are just my opinions so take them for what they are. I feel you have done a great job here, I just feel that these little additions will make it that much better I can't wait till you get time to do your next one!! Cheers Kevin

Ricky, it is indeed a good effort, and if you follow the good tips and advice on this site and keep at it, you will only improve!! Something I spotted to look out for with your next vehicle is de windscreen (and door windows). They have gone al frosty. Have you glued them with plastic glue? You should not as it wrecks clear plastic. The best thing to glue clear plastic is white glue. Also the headlights. The lenses are painted over. But as already has been said your camoflage looks good and so does the mud on the vehicle. How did you do the mud?
Last but not least, very nice idea, arguing about the directions.
Cheers
Henk

Nice composition, it is very easy to look at and easy to figure out whats going on. Well done. The groundwork is very good, very pleasing to the eye.
One word of encouragement for the next dio (you have the skill and talent for a next one) is to watch the mold lines and seam line on the figures. Just a quick rub with the back of a knife blade will take those off, add a bit of putty to gaps and you're done.
Well done, keep them coming

I really like your composition. To me that's the hardest thing to do with a dio, tell a story instantly. Something where you can just look at the dio and tell exactly what's going on. You've nailed that one.
Painting, weathering and groundwork can and will
improve with time and effort.
I'll chime in with the tarp on the bumper needs to be as muddy as the fenders, or atl east mud along the bottom edge from splashing up.
I might wonder how much mud would be thrown up onto the tops of fenders like that, but the nice thing about artistic license is that it is all yours.
nice dio!
Mike

Nice composition, your placement of the figures lead the eyes of the viewers around the diorama. I like it.
