Is there anyway to strip off arcrylic paint after its set or is it impossible. (I screwed up big time on my Jagdpanther model's camo, but hey only 13, 4th model, and no airbrush)

I would strongly recommend using Simple Green concentrate. The acrylic will just melt/dissolve itself right off without the need for scrubing. Also, there aren't any dangers involved using this, as it is non-toxic and environmentally firendly. This means no harsh fumes (actually smells like mint) and no need to wear rubber gloves/safety goggles/chemical warfare suit.

There is a product called Un-Cure (a CA DeBonder) that works well for that. I found out by accident, but have used it several times since. Just spread the liquid over the paint and rub it off with a papertowell or a q-tip.

Just like Cliff said, Oven cleaner, it can be Kroger brand, to save money, that is what I use, works just as good as the exspensive brand, took the enamel off to.
Just spray it up good seal it up over night, go back the next day, rinse off.

Wow Chuck that de bonder will even take the color out of plastic, it will turn green plastic white, or any color plastic white. You haft to be real careful, not only white, but it will also soften plastic, if your not careful.

In the latest FSM they recommend Windex. I use it to clean my airbrush after shooting acrylic paint, so I guess it makes sense.
