I am going to build a MK.IIID using the new Legends Production conversion set. I am seeking color suggestions as I am thinking about a desert sand color. Any ideas out there? Thanks and
Cheers,

Ken,
You will sometimes get as many opinions on this question as people who answer the question. (I hope that makes since ) The IDF has used different colors over the years including many shades of tan/sand, grayish, and green. I too plan on building this conversion as I think the Merk 3D is avery cool looking tank, and it appears Legend has done it well. Here is a pic of one in the color I plan to try to match
Here is a link to more pics like this that will hopefully help you out.

Testor's Model MAster makes a color called Israeli sand. It's what I used for my Merkava 2.

Heya, Ken,
What is your opinion of the Legends Merk IIID conversion? Is it easy to use and worth the money?
Thanks, dude...
Aloha,
Johnny B

This question has been going around on the new IDF Group forum. This is a group of hardcore IDF fans. The question seems to be rather subjective depending on weathering ( i.e. dust, sun and a like). The link follows: modern IDF Tank colour Hope this helps.
