I purchased the July issue of "Journal of Military Ordnance" today. Starting on page 43 there is an article about the T26E3/M26 Pershing. On page 45 it shows an M26 Pershing being hauled on an M15 trailer.
So, based on that I guess I will go ahead and display my M26 on my Dragon Wagon.
For anyone unfamiliar with this magazine, it comes out 6 times a year and is very good in my opinion. I buy it at Barnes and Noble.
Here is a scan of the picture:

I wouldn't question the photo - eventhough rated at 40-tons, the M26 Dragon Wagon was famous because it was often overloaded. It really could do a big job. There are reports and photos of it hauling items in the neighborhood of 100,000 pounds. If the crew could get it up on the trailer - the Dragon Wagon could haul it. Sure, the M15A1 was strengthened and widened to accomodate the wider and heavier tanks like the Pershing - but the tractor didn't get boosted...

Thanks for the pic. I have built these kits many years ago (with the M25 DES resin kit). In that time I found some reference pics but dont remind it. I also see a M25 (M26+M15) carrying a JS2 or3 in Berlin after the war.

Nice pics and really loved the picture of the jeep with the cargo extention on it. Does anyone have a picture of the non armored M25? Couldn't tell if that was one or not in the picture. Also with all the weight of the armor gone wouldn't that make it stronger?
