Hello guys,

here my DML Hummel (old kit in progress)
I try to get so close to the original as possible. I use the old DML kit, Eduard etch set, Mig return rollers, Friul Tracks and Precision gun with Lion Roar barrel...

Here my progress so far!

Greetings Lars

I replaced the chain with a Rocco minitanks one

Hi Lars.. looking awsome so far!!!!

Just a warning up front.. the sides of the fighting compartment are not gonna line up very nicely

But with a lil cutting.. sanding.. etc.. etc.. you can fix it up.. with the work I've seen you've done so far, you should have no probs!

Only other thing that's a bummer is the floor.. the ole Nashorn etch set, gives you the floor pieces.. but not the Eduard set

I didn't bother fixing it on mine, was too lazy I guess..

The new tool DML Hummels and Nashorns have the correct floors..

Great Job..

Hello Guys thanx for responding and for the nice words.

@Tuna love to see your Hummel. I hope I will work out the line up... I am testing all the time it should work out ... i Hope without breaking of all kind of detail.

I have bought Eduards Floor and Ammorack (for the new DML Hummel) set too.. this should provide me with the correct floor.

Things are starting up with me again, almost finished the right wall... so still have to do the fighting compartement the front and the gun... Give me some weeks and it will be ready :-D

Greetings Lars

Hello Tuna,

Nice one :-D
I think picturer 10 to 12 are most interesting. some questions
1. Did you use the eduard pe set?
2. in pic 10 you made a cover from plasticsheet is it because you didn't use the Eudard pe set at all or because you didn't like the PE?
3. Nice pics on the scratch gun travel lock-holders... are they copyrightet or can I use them as example :-D?

greetings Lars

Hi Lars,

Thanks for you comments..

On pic 10.. I didn't get those pieces with the Eduard set, so I used the styrene...

LOL someone lent me the nuts and bolts, so that's why I tried to add some doohickies..

Go ahead on the Travel Locks.. I thought I did a 'crude' job.. but I wanted to put something there as I saw them in the book..

I also used some leftover scrap etch from my Aber Jagdpanther..
