Has anyone heard or talked with Jim Lewis (Guntruck) lately. I am starting to get a bit worried about him as he hasn't replied to a couple of messages in a long while. I know he is busy with his new business though so maybe that is all there is to it.

Thanks,
Jim

Howdy Jim,

You must be a mindreader as well a Web master, because I've been thinking along the same lines for quite awhile now............

If he hasn't responded to your hails, then that's a bit surprising. Maybe we should put out an APB?

Tread.

Same here. I wrote to him at his web site and got no reply either. I guess he is very busy with the new business for sure.

Well, on a positive note. Being that busy is a good sign!
His new business venture must be blossoming. And I for one (although I'm absolutely sure I'm not alone in this thought ) am ecstatic about that!!!!
With any luck our good Gunnie-meister will find the time between stops amoungst his 'Rich and Famous' friends, and stop by here on his way to the 'Big Time' to say "Hello!"..........
Although I must admit to missing the bugger!

Tread, heyyyy Gunnnie!!!

I "spoke" with him a few weeks back. either from here or the IPMS/USA forum. As with a couple others, he said his new job was eating up huge amounts of his time.
Hopefully, he'll cruise by and drop a note that all is well.
Note: I spent a bit of time with him at the IPMS Nats in Phoenix and he's as nice a guy a foot away as he is is here. His work looks even better up close than it does on line.

Haven't heard from him, but you can add to the MIA's :::: Husky1943, Rob seems to have disappeared also. I know his was headed to Italy for vacation, then got hung up by the storm, but haven't heard from him or seen him since.

Dave, Rob Liveley PM'd me on the 10th Oct. He's been very busy with the rebuilding of NAS Pensacola, being with the base police there. He also said that they were still experiencing sporadic power outages in the area.

No Idea on the Gunmeister, unfortunately...

Jim and I were taking pictures at Jacques Littlefield's place back on Oct 10. He said work had been keeping him real busy.

Damn nice to be missed - didn't think anyone cared!

Yes - life/business has been incredibly busy. Good, bad, ugly, hopeful - and that's all in two months...

I've been away from site and the 'Net for a long time. I did get to hang out with Chris (toadman) up at Jacques Place, on my only day off in a stretch of several weeks. It was fun - gotta do it again! My wife actually let me go too, she must have known I needed a fix of armor and modeling...

The business plunge has been hard on a partner, however. I've been away trying to bolster that end. If I don't, the ramifications could be that I suffer as well. If I am successful, there's been an offer tabled for me to assume a newly created (tailor-made for me and my unique personality :-) challenge(s) ) Vice President of Operations position in a combined organization. Still don't know how I feel 'bout that yet - I like the freedom I have now. However - if I get to build models more often, in my office, then I'm all on-board. I'll keep holding out until then, because, I can! :-)

I owe Big Jim a Review real damn quick. I owe a couple of clients a gun truck and a TIE Fighter (imagine that). And, I owe myself some downtime when the fur settles down.

Forgive me. I have literally hundreds of e-mails to go through and try to catch-up on.

Paul - I responded to your PM here on Site.

Tired Gunnie but happy someone noticed I've been tardy!

GunTruck!!

You should be ashamed of yourself - no one would care????? Armorama has pulled me out of the gutter several times. I think we all can realize that this is a family deal here...

Glad to hear that things are, seemingly, ok...
