I have been browsing through various site's model galleris (including the Big A) and have come across some dioramas sporting amazing icicles. How is it done? I've read somewhere that it is possible to mix glue with accelerator, but provided I do bot have any of this, what could I do to achieve such a great detail?

I've used the white glue and it does work well. The only differance is that I crazy glued a small piece of fishing line to the vehcle, etc. first as a base for the glue to hold onto, and it adds a little more strength to the "icicle".

I run a bead of gloss medium on a piece of Teflon sheet material. Then I take a pin and scratch, scratch, scratch perpendicular to the bead. You get a whole soffit full of scale sized icicles, instead of a few dramatic ones. You still can add a few monsters.

Hot glue gun. Touch the tip with some glue on it to a piece of scrap sprue and pull it away. Continue down the length of the sprue and whe you are done, they can be eaasily removed and used where needed. "Q"
Very fast and very easy.
