Despite a couple of hours on Google and trawling through all my books I can't find a single decent pic of a Sherman II showing markings.
I know that they were used by the 4th Armoured Brigade in Italy and in NW Europe after D-day (black jerboa marking) but need more for my Dragon M4A1 Early with AccArmour details.
If anybody can help out I'd be most grateful.

Thanks for the link - But it's British Sherman IIs (M4A1) that I'm having trouble with! I need details of colours and markings.

Sherman II pictures are indeed hard to find outside North Africa. I'm pretty sure there are one or two in D-day to Berlin and David Fletcher's book for Concord though.

Dave,
I Know of a couple of pics of NZ Shermans taken around 1944 give or take a year at the NZ base at Maadi in Egypt. I know you don't want NZ pics but I think these Sherman II's show some camo of some sort and would have come out of Italy.
the pics are in a book I will try and find them online
I can't be sure that they are II's but I am pretty certain they are.

Andy - I have no objection at all to NZ pics - any commonwealth forces would be great - just want Italy or NW Europe.

Roger that Dave,
I will see if I can get the book out from the library later on this week.
You may be able to find it your self. It is called:
Kiwi armour No.1
4th NZ armoured Brigade in Italy
By Jeffrey Plowman
