I have a Dragon Pak-40 I am about to build and have some questions about the wheels and muzzle brakes
It comes with three types of wheels and muzzle brakes
The spoke wheels with the thin rim is the early version, the solid wheels are late version, but one set of wheels with the thick rims with spokes I have never seen before...when were they used? Sprue # D4
Also one muzzle brake is for the early version, the other for late
The one that is flat on top and bottom I have never seen before Sprue #(s)B45 & B55
Can someone tell me when these were used

The wheels with spokes was a light and manuverable way to haul around the pak 40. When the germans got close to battle, or had a half track to hook it on they would switch the wheels. Usually they had on the heavy duty wheels 24/7 though. The pak 40 that I fired and saw this weekend did not have the flat muzzle. I havent seen any type of muzzle like this before.

I have the kit, and was wondering the same thing.
I really wish Dragon (and other manufactures) would take the time to explain the different parts.
Think about it..... how much trouble would it be for them to type in what each optional part was, heck after all they did the research to make the kit.

they dont make the kit, they pay someone $100,000 to make the original mold. Then he has to type up the directions. It really depends on the molder wether or not they put the model parts in the directions. Ive seen some and i havent seen some.
