hi again,
I just find in a newspapper this fantastic photo. I'm so impresed of the beauty of that scenery that I want deadly to make it a dio. Instead of the jeep I can use a KW and some germans in winter uniforms.
( easy Nick, you MUST finish the vignette you have started first.)
It would be difficult for my skills but it worths to try it in the future.

Nick since teh trees are leaf bared or almost bared and the scene is full of one characteristic like snow , its more easy to recreate it than to make a spring scene with all tonal variations and all groundwork and plants showing theyre natural condition . If u make the vehicle , take a long base (not square ) to enhance the road effect and get some nature small branches from bushes to use as ur naked trees.
Then u use some baking soda and hairspray to make the snow
On the road also u will use some dark earth colours and some gloss varnish to simulate the melted and dirty snow
I ll be here if u decide to start
