Me first. I think you have done a good job mate. One comment I will make is the weathering on the windscreen looks too heavy. I like the clear wiper section but think that the rest should be a little lighter.

Gear in the back of the truck looks good and, on the whole, I think you have done a good job.

Cheers
Cliff

How long have you been modeling?

On the whole I agree with Cliff, especially about the windscreen. I like the detail in the truck load, and the model is well assembled. The reddish 'dust' is particularly effective.

I like it very much, but I share the same doubts as Cliff.
By the way it looks very well built and finished.

Spectacular, love the details like the opened wooden crate, nice touch. As far as the windshield is concerned hit it with a dark brown wash or black right over the colouring you have on it now,let dry and then take your index finger ,wet it a little and wipe away the middle of each pane. The effect is quite satisfying and you can then repeat the process with pastels for a dusty look.
I use this process all the time.

Looks good Ricky....
One of my favorite tricks for whindshieds is to take a Q-Tip (cottonbud) and after I spray, I remove the mask, and wet the bud a little and smear it around.... looks like someone took a rag and tried cleaning the windshield. (only works if you used acrylics, and they haven't completely dried)

I'd say you done a pretty good job, the only thing I noticed, that I seen nobody mention was that last picture, the spare tire looks like it has mold lines on the top of it, that and your wind screen are your weak points.
You done a really good job on that wooden box, looks just like a wooden box, and not many people can do that. Keep up the good work

Hi Ricky,
If it`s acrylic paint on your windshield and I hope it is just do what Grumpy suggested, wet a q-tip and wash out the windows and start over. If it`s not acrylics then someone with a little more knowledge on paint hopefuly will help you out,I only use acrylics.

About the windshield:

If you can't clean it you could always use the old one as a template and just cut out a new one. You could use the clear packaging that just about everything comes sealed in now. You know, the ones that are nearly impossible to open.
Just a thought.

Good job on the truck, BTW.

Ricky,I say go the other way.Leave the windsheild as is,and really dirty up the front and front fenders of the vehicle. It will look like it splashed into a large puddle... (++) (++)

I'm going in a different direction, the windshield is fine by me.....

The extra gear could use a smidge of TLC on the next 'go round'. Remove some more of the seam lines, there are a few if you look close. The rifles need straps too.

Nice build overall though, good to look at .
