Today I tried to airbrush my KV-1 with Model Master's enamel paint but, to my dismay, the airbrush did not work. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the needle was completley clogged up with brown paint and I was surprised that it had even sputtered out the little bit of paint that it had. Could anyone please give me tips on how to disassemble and clean an airbrush? I don't know what company it is so don't ask. It is short and blue, stumpy (great adjective for an airbrush ) and has a relativley large reservoir.

Maybe you could post a pic of it? In general, just gently disassemble it, and clean all the parts with Airbrush cleaner.

What type is it? There should be a listing of how the parts are disassembled with it when purchased. That may help.

Hi,
Well, here are some instructions for "Evo Two In One" and "Aztec 470" airbrushes, maybe your airbrush is same to one of those, if yes, follow that link.

I hope it helps.

well I've found out the type of brush it is... I have no manual for it, so I need help. All I know is that it says Paasche Type U T on the pressure activation lever. Here is one photo of it. Please help, because it's come to the point where I try to run thinner through it and nothing comes out (maybe a bit but not much). As you see I've removed the nozzle ring but that's the farthest I've gotten without feeling that I'm about to break the thing.
