That's one impressive looking Tiger!!
I love the weathering and the details.
First time I see a partial camouflage scheme. Was this the standard camouflage technique at the end of the war or was this cat refitted with another turret due to battle damage?

Hi Bjorn, thanks for the compliment, well it is not the standard camo color scheme toward the end of the war, this particular Tiger was found in Berlin painted in such a color.
cheers

Excellent work! Great weathering and nice touch with the battle damage.

truely exceptional work. Very realistic looking. PLease go into detail about how you gave it the rusty looking appearance around the seams. I've always gone with a steel highlight. Would like to try rust. What did you use to make that unbelievable rust color? I would like to mimic it in a wash or a dry brushing technique.

cocca,
Yes, please follow up with your methods for acheiving that look. I'm particularly intrested in how you achieve the subtle chipping and rusting along the seam lines as well. Absolutely top notch work and one I hope to achive to some day!

Greetings all, sorry for the late reply due to different time zone.
First of all thank you for your comments and compliments, I feel flattered.
Brian, I still awaiting Dragon 1/72 E-100 and Maus, can't wait to get my hands on them.
Steve and Mike; for the rusty of the seam lines, actually it quite stright forward, what I did was applied a few layer of washes of Burnt Sienna oil paint, follow by mixture of pastels color like red, brown and a tough of orange and black. Work your way very slowly, section by section, carefully applied the pastels, on and off move back to see until your eyes "feel right".
And Mike what you need is practice and guide along the way, and I believe you will achieve it one day, keep it up mate
Cheers...

Hi Jesper, thanks for the comments.
This was the actual color scheme that caught my eyes. I merely applied it on the smaller scale.
thanks

Coca
Most impressive. Totally outstanding especially the weathering details. Thanks for the superb examples. I hope to achieve some of the same details on my Panther G build.

Hi Coca,
you have just give me a reason to build a King Tiger too. Great job on your pin-washes, they come out really well. Also great job on your figures. An idea for a on-display?
Looking forward to your next build.
