I picked up the M26 kit today and found an interesting insert in the box. One side is titled:
"Ground Vehicles and Aircraft Deployed During the Korean War." There is a crude map of Korea and drawings ofthe vehicles. My question is does anyone know if the list is accurate and complete?

This is the insert (the important part anyway) that is being referred to:

I don't believe the insert was intended to be all-inclusive. I believe what is shown on it is accurate but I don't know enough about Korean era equipment to say if it is complete or not. Even though the images shown are accurate for the time period it seems to me that the insert is geared toward promoting their model kits. It is a nice insert though and will be included in my references.

Hi Cfbush2000,

How much does it cost in the US for the M26 Kit? It costs about HK$140 here in HK ( US$18}.

Hmmm, very interesting indeed!! MOST of the kits on there are produced by Tamiya. But I see a cute little Self Propelled Howitzer that sure would look neat rolling out of the Tamiya factory. :-)

As well as an F-86 that sure would be keen done 'Tamiya style'

Sgtsauer,

Yep, I think it's a bit pricy in the US for Tamiya products and the price in HK is much less than you can get it in Japan too.

It must be a Tamiya add - at least two Russian made pieces of equipment are missing: BA-64 and SU-76M, both used by North Korea

Thanks for the replys guys.
I paid $44.00 plus tax at the local hobby shop. I know I could have done better online, but I needed it right away so I could put it in my stash and plan on building it someday.
Nice kit.
