It's difficult to make people to join when you don't want to!
Same thing happens with our "real modeling club" AMA - Almada's Modeling Association, here in Portugal.
We have a annual expo for 3 days (friday to sunday) and usually we have 2K visitors - interested!
They ask questions, see the models, make comments, ask where is our headquarters, because they are "thinking of becoming members" ....
It seems like they are affraid to commit and be judged!
One thing that I remember was the first time that one of my models was displayed on a modelshop window!
I was so affraid of the feedbacks...
No one is born a full model master and you have to learn step by step, right? Perhaps there are visitors who are affraid to show the limited skill - just because they are still in the learning process and are to "stiff" to admit that

So...in Modeling "real life" and in "virtual life" the same problem happens again and again!
But then, here we have a lot of excellent modelers (all ages, genders, skills and themes ) and I am proud to be part of it!!
