I usually put Future on before drybrushing but only because my washes work better with Future applied than on a flat finish and I always dry brush after the wash.

You want to dry brush on a "flat " surface, the flat surface grabs the paint off of the brush making it easier and more effective. I've seen where some guys use future before washing, having an opposite effect, the washed paint has an easier time following the panel lines and creases(and doesn't bleed) when the surface has a gloss coat.
Fuhrer, future is a floor wax the has been discovered to perform different tasks for models

Future floor wax. It's an acrylic wax that has a LOT of uses to us modelers.
