Hi Truckers!
Yesterday I finally got from greatmodels.com C.G.M. Productions cab for GMC CCKW. It's rare item so I decided to share with you some impressions.
In small box I found one big cab and about 10 smaller resin parts, very interesting metal grille, small PE and decals.
Overall quality is good, there're only a few air bubbles and parts needs only minimal cleaning but details are soft and could be better.
Main body is casted in one piece - with engine bay, driver area, roof and even fenders together. It makes construction very easy - there's only separate engine hood, doors, front window and floor. For interior we'v got seats and ... I don't know right word in english driver panel?
Dimensions looks to be right in scale but I can't say how it fits to Tamiya model because my GMC is still on the way from Hong Kong
If anyone is interested in this subject I can make some photos and upload them here.
Merry Christmas!
Piotr (:-)

I hate winter, it's getting dark about 4 PM so photos are poor.

Small update:
My Tamiya kit finally arrived so I can compare dimensions. Both cabs have same length but resin one has wider fenders (almost 1mm each). Anyone knows real cab dimensions?
Test fit suggest that it will be easy and painless conversion but we'll see soon
