I picked up a set of AFV Club T80 track over the weekend. These things are supposed to be assembled with no glue. BUT, I can't get then track end connectors to stay on. Am I doing something wrong? Or, is "workable" just a advertising gimmick and I need to use glue to get my tracks to stay together?
Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

Just press them together a little at a time and check to make sure you have enough links assembled then if you want to lay flat and take a little liqiud glue while lining up links along a ruler and apply a little glue to one side let set a little bit take ruler apply to other side apply a little glue but this time when glue has set a little take and apply around road wheels and drive and idler keep in place until glue has set if done right you should not glue any wheels on until model is finished keep joint at bottom so keep one link loose sort of like dragon tracks or any indi links. as to workable I have not built enough to know if they can go around by turning wheels such as pinned Fruil tracks or such. hope this helped I am sure somebody who has built a bunch will chime in with another way at least I hope so maybe my way is more work

Just to clarify, I don't have any problems putting the track together. I just can't get the end connectors to stay on.

Just use a little liquid glue a little is the word and you will have no problem. The second link made note of this I allways glue them together anyway hate to have it finished and be searching for missing connectors in the rug ouch

I've got the T84 set and it is a mother to get the end connectors to stay on. The biggist problem is getting the center guides to fit. If you don't the damn things will break the pins which are very VERY fragile. I took a tip from someone here who suggested painting the pins first and then assembling the track. It works but becareful that you don,t get paint in the holes in the end connectors. Reaklly hard to clean out and I broke several pins Sorry but I don't remember who made the suggestion but I do appreciate it. Was about ready to toss the whole thing. I built the m88A1 a few years ago which had a set of workable chevron tracks included in the box. These went together quite easly and do infact work as advertized.
