Excellent and beautiful... That are the only two things I can say about this diorama that Leung Ming Cheung submitted.

I knew I reckognized the work. Same who did Wacht Am Rein. The guy is an incredible builder but beyond that, he really puts his dios together wonderfully. I am in awe again!! Well done Leung!!!

The thing that is most stricking is the movement that he was able to put in those figurines!!!

For those who may not have seen it, here is the link to Wacht Am Rein
https://armorama.kitmaker.net//features/278
I have stared at this probably more than any other dio ever because of the mass amount of figures.
Not trying to change the focus of the thread but I feel his work should be and could be appreciated further.

Thats simply Outstanding.
the figures for behind the M48 are, i believe, a set named "full metal jaket" i believe Verlinden makes them, whoever they are from, they are beautiful figures, and Leung has done a great job on this diorama.
cheers

Thank you for all the comments. The M48 is a Tamiya old product with AFV tracks and I use putty to re-shape the front hull nose. Fenders were thin down with file.
The figures behind the tank are from Hobby Fan with VP heads and DML rifles. Both the dead and the wounded are also from Hobby Fan with some conversion. It is always appreciate to hear some feed back, thanks.

Awesome depiction Lueng. I can feel the adrenalin flowing through the men in back of the M-48. I can smell the dirt and feel the fear of the wounded man. It brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing. You are a Master of the Dioramas.
Bravo and three cheers

Very interesting dio! You can really get the feeling that the soldiers would have felt.

Wow. I echo all the positive statements. Love the way the tank hugs the ground with realistic weight and suspension.
I feel the anticipation, fear and excitement elicited by the figures crowded behind the tank as well as the fallen soldier beside it.
I see the stone structure's weight.
"Art is dio is art."
Check out the figures in his WWII dio too!
it would be great if Mr Cheung would write a how to article!?! Maybe some higher up from Armorama could talk him into this
I anticipate more from Leung Ming Cheung, a very talented modeller!
Happy New, Michael

Very nicely done. Very accurate, too. The figures are really well animated.
I'd like to know the specs on the figures (manufacturer, item numbers, etc.)

Animals response sums it up.....
The figures expression and poses are outstanding. The wounded soldier with his arm outstrechted..... Looking at it I feel my skin go cold.. I have not been in battle, let alone Vietnam, but I imagine that this must hit home with vet's who were there. There are not many trully, consistently great artist, but this man is one of them.

Great diorama, good laying and painting. I´m a fan of mr. Leung since I saw his dio of M-113 with grunts a couple of year ago.
But for a better dramatic sense I miss one of the soldiers talking with tank comander with the infantry telephone of the M-48 for a better aiming, and perhaps the officer asking trough the radio for a medevac chopper... may be something like that ....
Congratulations mr. Leung, and please keep on modelling about Nam war, my favourite (an exclusive by now) subject of modelling

Thanks, gentlman, thanks for all the kind words. The marines behind the M48 are from 2 sets of Hobby Fan, One contain 6 fig while one contain 2. The wound and dead also from Hobby Fan with conversion. I forgot the item no. CSAGO, I am also your Vietnam dio fans.Your dio with seals on the patrol boat and the other one--seals with a captured VC are my favorite!!
