This is my next dio titled ” Die amerikanischen Cigaretten”. I build it for Ardennes campaign.
Sd.kfz 251/9 and Greyhound are both from Tamiya. Figures are from Dragon and Tamiya.
Please tell me what do you guys think about my newest project.

Very nice layout, the vehicles, gorund work and figures appear very well done.I also love the camo uniforms. I can not tell for sure but are there wheel tracks showing how the vehicles got there? If there are it just must be the pcs that dont show them well. Is the american soldier captured? Can you elaborate your storyline A little? Great work! Cheers Kevin

Nice very nice look you have there. The weathing is really good, although it may be from the Camera, but the figures look a little glossy. Also if it is from the Ardennes, Where is all the snow? The battle took place in Dec-Jan. So I dont think there would a place like that with no snow at all. Maybe none on the roads, but off the road would surely have some. other than that is looks awesome. Oh and Guys I do believe the GI is getting captured, if you look he seems to be putting both hands behind his head.

Looks nice Tomek. nice layout.
I'd say the yank was captured, simple by looking at his pistol belt laying on the ground in front of him, and his up raised hands.

Thank you guys for all nice comments
Bodymovin, Jackhammer81, Verboten : The American soldier is captured. One of German grenadier ( wearing green poncho) got his pistol in hand. He is also the one who know a little English and he tries to interrogate prisoner.
Jackhammer81 you are right about wheel tracks. They are not made correctly. They are not deep enough and tires track are not detailed well .This is my first dio with muddy road. To create mud I used plaster, brown color jointing mortar ( I’m not sure if my translation is ok – it is mortar for wall tiles.), some sand and dirt . Than I sprayed everything by an acrylic varnish. Now I think jointing mortar wasn’t good idea. It is too sticky.
Verboten there is one overall picture in my gallery.
Jermy to make this picture I used digital camera I got for Christmas so I still learn how to make good pictures. Figs are not glossy, this my lack of photography skills. And about the snow. I read that at the beginning of Ardennes offensive there was no snow. I also have book about Ardennes offensive and they are some nice pictures. There is snow on some of the pictures while on the others there is not. In my dio I tried to show weather like: temperature about 0 ºC and drizzle.

Nice work, I to was wondering where the snow was but you have obviously done you home work on this dio and had a well thought out plan from the start.

You were right guys. There was only one overall picture so it could be hard to get full efect. I added 2 more.
Verboten: Is title of my dio correct in German? I learned German in school but grammar was always the biggest problem for me. I always have problems with Artikeln and Deklination.
