Hey Guys,

Here are some progress photos of my Heavy Haulers campaign entry. Im not really sure if this tractor, trailer combination actually existed but i think that it will be an interesting build. This is in 1/72 scale
On to the photos.

The walls are made of .15 Evergreen plastic. The length of the trailer is 107mm in 1/72nd so its about 27 feet in real life.

Heres the parts laid out waiting to have finishing detail added and waiting for a primer coat.

A close up of the side doors, workbench, and storage cabinet. Yes that is a # 11 xacto blade in front of the workbench just to give a size comparison. The bench measures 32mm in length.

And a final closeup of the trailer walls. The red lines are supposed to represent electrical lines leading to electrical outlets on the wall.

Theres my progress so far. Its been fun and frustrating at times. This trailer will eventually hook up to a CCKW tractor unit, when i get the Airfix kit and then convert it.

Thanks for looking. Comments welcome

Matt

Way to go. I love to watch a scratch build. And to watch one of a scale of 1/72nd is going to be a treat. I have all I can do to see 1/35th scale.

This is something I would like to watch myself, I think a lot of the stuff would be to small for me to handle, but that doesn't mean I still don't like to watch.
