hi mates; after (sorry) a lot of cursing, cutting, rebuilding i'm glad it's done. the grille M in 1/35 from ALAN . it was i think the worst kit i'll ever made , especialy the indy's ~puke flash all around, needed to be drilled out, missing guidhorns (well you can write a book on it)horrible molded detail and rivets that all needed to be rebuild. hey it was a challenge, so no more ALAN for me  here it is, as usual comment would be appreciated

Ciao maffen,
Wow, for a model that was really terrible, you certainly did an incredible job on it! It looks marvelous! Did you add all the details to it? Amazing.
Ciao for now

I love the barbed wire fence, the weathering is very good. Great job, and hope to see it in a dio.

Maffen, this looks pretty good to me! I know what you mean about Alan, because I recently did their Gepard, which is basically the same vehicle but with 2cm Flak. The thing is, they tend to do vehicles that other manufacturers won't touch in injection moulding, & they're a lot cheaper than resin! But the kind of results you've got there do encourage me to try them again! By the way, I like the rifling in the barrel, is this an aftermarket part or kit item?

Maffen,

nice build. I think you did an awesome job with paint/weathering too. I know what you mean about Alan. I gave up on their Wespe.

thanks fellas for the response , no aftermarket on it , the rifling are narrow pieces of alu.foil glued in more or less a spiral in the barrel

How long did it take you to make this beauty? That is the mark of a great model builder! Take a so-so kit and make it look like that, AWESOME!!!

Hi maffen,

that was outstanding finish consider by the fact about the kit inaccurasies and fitting problem.. i have the kit too,...and build it OOB with lot of frustation...
seing your finished grille makes me feel bad about my self.. hehe

so i have a few question..

1. where is the bar that supposed to be on top of the fighting compartment??

2. what do u do with the ammo?? it looks good ...

3, are the track original?? mine got too many flash and sink mark....hard to remove and then i decided to go for MK tracks

great work man!!

hi silantra , left the bar of (the few pictures i've found did not show it either) just put two pieces of copper tubing on the sides where the bar suppose to fit in the ammo are from the kit ,just put two bands of alu.foil around them and made the buckels from copperfoil . as for the tracks, i know what you mean, it was the same over here: full of flash, missing guidhorns and they needed to be drilled out (took me about a week just to clean them up )
