well, as i promised in my yesterday's post which you can read HERE
I decided to take some quick shots of my in progress Maquette 1:35 scale T-34 stalingrad production.
bad fit
BAD FIT!!!!
Had to cut off existing MG hull since its for a 1943 hull and im making 1941
Reserve MG hull (present in the box) placed over the hole and MG made from medical needle
I also still need help with this:
how should i write this word in russian?
Cossacks = козаки or казаки ???
All info, critics and comments are most welcome. This is my first large scale russian armor

That looks like it is not the easiest kit on earth. Hope you have enough putty.
This engine grill must have been hard to cut out mate.
I know you will do something good out of it.
Keep us updated

Ah yes, the joy of cutting huge bits off the model before building. My turret front fitted REALLY badly. Still side-cutters and a sanding stick came in useful.
I'll try and look up the cossack thing tonight.

Looked through several books last night and in the Squadron 'T-34 in action' there is a colour plate of a T-34 called 'Don Cossack' which is spelled (without using Cyrillic type here) Donskoi Kazak.
Hope this helps.

You must be a very calm person, had it been me I would have run screeming out and thrown the kit in the trashcan .....
