well here is another update. I had to rebuild the grill and bonnet (hood) as I had them too pointed. I have wired the motor and done the fuel lines to the carberetter and painted the engine bay and engine.

Some pics below and the rest are in my gallery - Heavy Hauler album.

As normal all comments or nit pics are welcome

Pic one/ the cab has been fitted but not finished and the bonnet is just placed on and not fixed.

well Dear cliff. i can smell the oil and petrol fumes around the workshop !!!!!. Nice start. Keep on , u know i have an eye on this one !!!!!!!

That is one awesome looking machine. I love all the extra details. The motor wiring looks great. You have done a very super job, especially considering all the scratch building you told me that went into this. Great Job..

John, yes your portee engine should look like that! You don't know just how often I swore I'd glue the bonnet down on this one as I was doing it.
