Question:
Can I post to a thread directly, or do I have to upload to my gallery first?
Problem;
When I try to add pix to either a new thread or a reply, every time I browse back from my gallery all the text is gone and I have to start over. Also, I tried loading 2 pix in the same reply with no text and when I got back to the box the first img load was gone and the box was blank again. I'm using the "Copy" option at the bottom of the pic.
Thanx.

You can post directly to a thread but your photo has to be hosted somewhere first. You cannot post directly to armorama from your hard drive. For example, I take pictures, download them to my pc, upload them to my gallery at armorama and then link to the images in my post.

Art,
Simple solution. Open a second window and keep your new topic or reply in the first window so you can come back to it. Then get the upload code from the 2nd window once you have uploaded the photo(s) and paste that info window 1.
Cheers,
Jim

Many thanx for the replies. Not meaning to be a smarta--, but simple to you guys when it comes to this stuff is still kinda confusing to me. So....
. How do I open that 2nd window?
. Do I still click "img", got to my gallery, etc.?
. Should I still use the "copy" option or copy the "properties"?
Your patience is appreciated.

The simplest path would be to "right" click with your mouse on the Gallery link on the main menu and select "Open in New Window". Then just click the Upload Photos link on the upper right.
I would use the Copy field as that has all the info already pre-formated and you don't need to click the IMG button either.

Jim
