Great! Really like the way it looks with all that gear on. Tyres etc. could do with a bit of dust/mud, but a great 'loaded up' look!

very, very nice. As Vinnie said a bit more dust on the tyres but apart from that excellent detail painting. Can't wait to see the dio when you have finished it.

Thanks for the comments guys.
The tires/bottom half are going to be quite "wet" as this buggie's motor got swamped and another Schim will be pulling it out of the "drink". It will be sitting just at the shore edge and work will just about begin to get the motor going. I wanted to get some photos before the mud flew.

Realy, realy nice. I like the chain on the front, just rusty enough without looking to 'orange'. Your great painting skills have already been mentioned..
I do like the German optimisum,or sense of humour, evidenced by the single paddle at the side.... as for the stick grenades hanging by the side.. :-)
Great, hurry up and show us the diorama..
Cheers

Hey Bruce, that's great.
I agree with Henk about the chain- it was the thing thgat made me sit up and look!
AND did you have to go to the level of painting the screw caps on the grenades?... I'm going to have to get some really fine brushes and/ or big magnifying glass to keep up with some of you guys!

Thanks for the kind words guys, now if I can just learn to take a decent picture. Henk your right about the grenades, although I have seen pics that shows this as a storage place, in this case I think the crew would have removed them when they ventured into the water.

A: Your model is great.
B: Your pictures are too (why is everyone so self-conscious about their pictures?)
C: The grenades position is no different than the location of land mines on American half tracks. We all have our lunacy.
