Hinge making for dummies

here is a tip on making hinges & locks like I have added to this tool box on the back of my Ford semi.





in the above diagram it shows how to make the two most common. As you can see they comsist of two pieces of plastic (or brass) strip and a piece of brass or copper wire. Add bolt heads and there you are hinges that when painted look the part.

Now the working hinge, will be a little more to it. Are we going to save that one for the final chapters of the book.

No wonder I was confused, I was off in working hinge land & you built a static hinge !!!!

But from your diagram, I think I have a plan .... more playing is necessary to see if I can do it consistently ....
