Looks very good John, I like the muddy wheels. Like a proper prototype being put through it's paces. Great job on the shading and weathering, now finish the tracks and post the pic's

Very nicely done! The rust, corrosion and discolorations are very realistic!

Thanks Guys!
LOL, actually Sticky comes from my then 3 year old son and his interesting way he would eat a PB&J - it really was a Stickymess!
Its done very easily by layering different shades of reds, browns and orange!
Again thanks all for the great comments!

Hey John:
Thats a great looking unit, I'm always impressed with your flawlesspaint jobs, no unwanted stuff ,(bumps/lumps etc). Your photos are great, and really show off this baby, whats your secret to a light source, or any other secrets you want to give us in that department. This is going to be a great looking model when completed.
Regards
Bruce

Secrets Revealed! News at 11:00
Thanks Slug - Here is the low down on what I use to take the photos.
3x 200w bulbs in adjustable spots
1 5 megapixle camera
2 tripods one mini for table top, one regular
1 blue background curved between the table top and the wall.
Basic camera setting are the highest quality and resolution, white balance is set to incandesant, I then shoot 3 brackets per shot, meaning I set the F stop to 8.0 or higher, and I adjust the shutter speed for 3 adjacent settings; 30th 60th 125th, generally, but modified as needed. I then resize the pics in Paint shop pro - generally to 25% then load them up to my FTP space. Thats it

Thanks John, I'll play with a few of my "never used" buttons on my camera, I'm reminded of the white balance setting, forgot about that. Not sure I know what you mean by 25% of the original size, Do you mean 25% of the pixels, cause the highest setting is alot of pixels. Sorry about taking this

Slug most of the pics i take are for print, therefor they are very large in size. To make them web friendly, i need to reduce the size - which actually decreases the quality, but for most monitors you cannot tell. So in short, yes i reduce them in size to 25% of the original.

This is some great work, John. Were you by chance inspired by the photo of Dr. Porsche & the evaluators fording the ditch? Any chance we'll see this beauty take its place as the centrepiece of such a dio?

Thank you very much Robert, Infact I had the kit in hand BEFORE I actually found those pics! But the build is definatly influeced by those pics! As for a dio, it will definatly be mounted on a base, with some ground work, and maybe one fig.
