I can see I'm going to have to get into this Sherman lark eventually! I can see a LOT of work done on this kit Brian. It looks like it's made of metal before you get the paint on! Particularly the front shot. Did you work over the plastic with a burr to get that textured effect? Looks very good indeed. Only thing I can't see are casting numbers. These seem to be quite prominent on most Sherman photos.
"Lord Raglan wishes the cavalry to advance rapidly to the front, follow the enemy, and try to prevent the enemy carrying away the guns. Troops of Horse Artillery may accompany. French cavalry is on your left. Immediate. Airey."

Thanks for the kind words Steve. I guess the pics dont show the casting nubers well. Here you go. I also have added numbers to the mantlet and the upper hull. Cheers, Bryan

Glad this is not posted in the Rivet Review forum because I can't see anything to critique... wait! Is that a little hole into the lower hull I see under the front fenders at the transmission housing? Shoot me if I'am seeing things...
Very nice work Bryan.

Hi Bryan, You are flying through these Shermans (which is a good thing). Once again even your unpainted model is a master piece. Lookin forward to seeing it finished

Another great example Bryan -anyone seeing this before painting can't deny that modelling is an art form!. Once again I'm amazed by your patience and skill with the aftermarket parts - what brass set did you use?
Bryan, your building skills are outstanding. I wish my builds would be as clean as this.... It's almost a pity to cover it up with paint... Beautifull.. but what is the bit on the right front above the lift eye??
Cheers Henk

BEAUTIFUL!! It would almost be a shame to "dirty it up" with paint. Seeing kits (with or without AM) like this, looking like this, make me want to go out and buy a Serman
Hmmmm, watching a couple of auctions for the new DML M4A2 Russian one.
Really, Really nice! What did you use for the weld seams (Milli)?
