now that is looking awesome. The figures certainly bring the trailer to life.

Have you ever thought about making the roof from clear plastic?

You know just this morning I was thinking about making the roof clear. Two great minds(well at least your full great mind and my half). I plan to get some clear sheets on my next trip to the local hobby store.

Ingenious Dave. Love how you incorporated the parts from the IDF Fitter on the inside. As Roo says ... the figures add life to the scene ... almost a small dio within the truck!
The glass roof is a good idea .. or at least large glass panels ... it would be a shame to not be able to see the interior with the roof on!

Very nice truck, lovely idea and well executed. Definitly agree with the clear roof, it would be a shame to hide the interior away. Just 1 question though wouldn't the truck have ariels on it for those radios ( i don't know thats why i'm asking).

Hey Dave: You've done a great job on this original dio, the wealth of detail makes the viewer go over every part. I agree the people really bring it to life. I wondering is the guy in the back room getting alittle to much lifeC[ ] ?

There would be some antennas on the upper side of the trailer to extend above the roof. The would also have some free standing ones that are erected at the site where the trailer is set up. They would also another larger generator hooked up to the system also. I might build these and make to entire thing a commo Dio.

He's just chilling out and listening for any weird noise coming from the generator, Ya that's it....

Enough with the tractor & trailer already ...

It's the butt & trash cans that make it :-) :-)

Don't see any pin-ups

Really a super job.

My belated vote for a clear top ....

Holy Batman! Robin...err, I mean..Dave!

When I clicked on this thread and saw your first picture I thought..."wow, nice work". And then I began to scroll down and saw all the interior work!
My hat's off to ya buddy....make's me feel completely unworthy with the spartan interior work I did on my entry.....{kicking peeble againt the wall.....} just smallfry......

You just keep getting it better, and better, dontcha?

Tread.

BTW.....the clear roof idea is brill.

Well done Cliff - living proof that an Aussie can extend his cerebral processes beyond barbecues, beer and women!!
The clear roof is a brill idea - it would be criminal to hide that excellent work Dave. That is one heck of a model.

I believe you would get an unanimous vote on the clear roof from everybody, to not cover that magnificent work you done Dave.

This is one time visual, would be better then correct, cause everybody has to see this.

Thank you all very much. You have all made my day I have taken your suggestions to heart and will comply. I think that I will make a small dio of a comm site with a couple of support vehicles. Now if I can find some place to store it after it is finished...
