I have just thought something up which might make an interesting campaign.....
from 1/76 and up.....
motorcycles and bicycles. ( both civillian and army )
These would include cycles with a sidecar, and also the kettenkraftrad.
Let me know what you think.
This campaign will probably take place later this year.

Snowhand -
I like the idea and would definitely participate in the Campaign. Was wondering if it wouldn't be just a little restrictive in subject? Not a problem, but thought maybe if it expanded slightly for vehicles like Horch, Kubelwagen, Jeep, or staff types? Just another idea, but like yours. Hope there's interest out there for it.

well, a soft skin campaign has just ended, so that is why i chose not to include 4 wheeled vehicles.
There are enough kits around, from ww1 onwards... I didn't specify a time period, so modern bikes are just as possible.
and.. as the idea said: i would include civillian bikes too.

I like the Idea of bikes and motocycles for a change. Short and sweet. No long and complicated taskings, FAIRLY easy painting, and a quick build.

Perhaps add ATV 4-wheelers (non-SUV). The local stores have hunting/sporting ATVs in diecast, some are in kit form. I wonder how hard it would be to tweak one into a more serious model?

Motorcycles/Bikes seems to be clearly defined as: 2 or 3 wheel vehicles... requiring a motocycle license to operate. .
I really don't think you'll ever convince a biker, that an ATV or a 4 wheel vehicle is a motorcycle/bike........If you do, he's probably had way too much Boones Farm, and you have a gun to his head. :-) :-) :-) :-)

althus defined:
Name: On 2 wheels
military/ civillian campaign.
Scale: 1/76 ( fujimi and matchbox springs to mind ) and higher.
scope to build a bicycle/ motorcycle/ scooter.
To be accepted as such: everything you can drive, in your country, with a motorcycle or scooter licence.
This does include trikes, quads and kettenkraftradern, as well as motorcycles with a sidecar, but exclude all other 4 or more wheeled vehicles.
time period: 1800 and up ( basically since the invention of the bicycle )
OOB and modification/ aftermarket parts are allowed, as well as scratchbuilding !!!!
