Hi all,
This is my first vignette. It is near to be finished but I must add some more details.
I will appreciate your comments.

Welcome to the site Rafael and what a way to start. Lovely little vignette. The painting is excellent, but I have to admit, I love your tree trunk. Pity there is no photo of the whole tree. Is it a scratchbuild or is it bought?
Great to have another figure painter join up.What medium do you use for painting? The blending of shadows and highlights is excellent. Nice one!

Rafael, Nice build! I'd suggest using some pastels on the knee and lower leg areas to blend the ground work in with the figures. A light dusting is pretty much all it would take. Darken the knees a little since they are on the ground on their knees. Maybe the elbows too to show that they have had to "hit the ground" at some point. Other than that, you have a nice piece on your hands. "Q"

Holy Moley.... what a beginner..... :-)
Looks great, Rafael.
Allow me to welcome you to the Armorama.
Since this is your first post.... I can surely say, you certainly know how to enter with style.
Hope to see a lot more of your figures.
And I second what JimBrae said....

Well done. Nicely executed.
The grasses are great, nice variations, the rocks are very well done, in position and finish.
I know its not done, so don't forget to put some of that attention on the base too.
Welcome to Armorama, great start.

James, thanks for your kind comments
Frank, the tree is made by myself. This is made using a litle branck and making the texture with Milliput putty.
The ivy is made using photoetch and also making the branches with Tamiya epoxy putty.

I attach some more pics with the tree and groundwork process:

About the medium used for painting the groundwork it was a mix : acrylics and oil based paints (washing effects). The figures was painted using acrylics (Vallejo)

Arthur, thakls for your comments. The figures are three Shenandoah Miniatures figures. I change the head of two of that figures from another of the same brand.
Jim thanks a lot for your encouragement. I am very interested in to collaborate in the "/features" section. Please let me know what kind of message or articles you need for that section. I usually make a SBS of all my figures.
Dave, thanks also for your comments.

Excellent paint work. Very smooth blending of the shadows and highlights. You've really brought out the expressions of the individuals. Did you do the faces with acrylics too, Rafael?
Very realistic bark work on the tree too.

Great painting, great composition, I really like this one. Of particualr note is the work on the plaid blanket and the plaid patch on the knee of the guy approaching.

Costas,
Thanks a lot for your comments.
About your question the answer is YES, the tree leaves (and also de ivy) are also Photoetched parts; the tree leaves are from Scale Link. I attach a pic of the process...

Rafa
