What removes it? Building a Type 98 and not having any luck really. Only appears to be on the bottom of the top hull piece. Soap and water no, Castrol Super Clean no. Any ideas?

Super clean has always worked for me removing mold release.
Maybe good old fashion scouring powder, and a tootbrush would work.

Hmmm....maybe try some alcohol or nail polish remover(acetone), or some enamel thinner. They "shouldn't" hurt the plastic. But try it out on a scrap piece first. I haven't run into that yet. Let us know if anything works.

Did you try Dawn diswashing liquid? We use it to strip wax off of cars before doing a thorough re-wax.
