Has anyone seen this article on Sea Foam? I'd love to get my hands on some of those seeds and grow my own. Of course, the link goes back to the original language. I read the translated page.

Same here... it sells at bloody ridiculous prices here ( in the hobby shops)
But you know, i swear ive seen this stuff growing down the sides of houses and along pathways, am i wrong or is this stuff a fairly common plant?
I mean, if what ive seen growing around IS this sea foam, its no more than a weed!
Cheers

I haven't been able to identify where the stuff comes from but if it's sold in Hobby shops they always cost a bomb. Patrick perhaps you might want to source material from dried flower shops which are cheaper. David you right in that you could probably get it off nature if your'e observant enough. Remember the "bamboo" we talked about earlier?
The fine branching in most of these material are likely to be flower stalks of medium to large trees. Normal twigs seldom have such intricate branching. The one seen in the foreground of the pic below comes from a dried flower shop which I've added tea leaves. The one to the left is before the addition of the tea leaves. Sorry, can't identify the tree it came off.
The one in the background is the flower stalk of a teak tree. Joined up additional branches and added a dried weed for the leaves.

I can't grow nothing, even the container of "Cat Greens" I bought died the next day.....
