I didn't see the AA Crusader, but I think the S.P.G. 75/18 M40-M41 is an interesting addition.

Eric, it would be interesting news if it hadn't already been announced. Our news section is constantly updated. For example:

The Semovente M40 is the very first Italeri model I ever built, around 30 years ago, and before they simplified their name.
The outside is much better than the Tamiya offering, though the inside is a little bare in comparison.

Bit of a weird choice the Crusader AA version - it was only briefly used in NW Europe. However, as we're not exactly spoiled for choice ...Jim

That's because you don't think like a bean counter Jim. "So we've got three Crusader tanks we've come out with. Any more things we can make using the same parts?" "Well, there was this AA gun thing, but they didn't make very many of them." "So what, let's do it."

Weren't there are bunch of those Italian tanks found in Iraq recently? Perhaps there is some uses for that kit.

If only they'd bring out the Crusader 17 pdr AT gun tractor...
Ooops, then they'd have to bring out a 17 pdr AT gun.
And then a crew.
Nope, time to put that idea back in the Too Hard basket...

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted to see the AA Crusader. I just picked up the Crusader Mk I kit a couple days ago, and will be getting this one when it hits the stores.
