Okay late again but please nominate ONE person you feel should be put in the voting for User of the Month for March. The 5 people with the most nominations will be the ones up for voting.
Thanks!

Shonen Red. The poor guy has given so much time to Armorama's development and has not yet gotten this award. He definitely deserves it.

Henk send me some of his pastels, I have really nice chats with Jackhammer81 and Tankysgal1, Chief is going to send me some figs, Sensei helps me with my T-34 and so on and so on......everyone is helpfull here....:-) Makes it hard to choose!
Mmm well I've got a winner anyway, a special one for me. I mentioned it before already in another thread, but ...
...95bravo ....
.....deserves some special attention...
As some of you already know, a few months ago one of my friends killed himself. I was really shocked by it and that had influence in my building speed etc. I explained what happened in one of the Dive Dive Dive campaign threads (as I was working on my DDD entry at that time). I got replies on that post with kind words to make me feel better, which I really appreciated, but one guy really proved himself to care and think about his fellow big-A members
95bravo, Steve, first send me some private messages with asking how I felt etc, and I really found support in it. Now after a few months, I again got a message from him with how I'm doing. I had to smile from it, it's really great to have someone, that you actually never even met, who really thinks about you and shows he cares about you.
So, I wanted to say: Steve, thanks, I really appreciate what you did

If it's for me, I have to say: Jackhammer81...He helped me a lot with dio groundwork principals, and he's always there to lend a helping hand, when you need one!!
Just my two cents, John.

I have to go with Mother this month. He has been very helpful to a lot of members here. He has a positive attitude and builds a mean looking model! :-)

Why? Does user of the month only have to do with people who help you with modelling? In that case I can't nominate 95bravo.....
But he did helped me here, at armorama, with messages, not about scale modelling but just trying to help....
Why can't I nominate him for User of the Month for that reason?
Or do I really not understand what User of the Month stands for? :-)
I quote:
"This person will be selected by a vote of the sites users as someone who has been especially helpful, courteous, and or kind to their fellow peers either through direct contact (forum posts, private messages, email) or indirectly "
He has been especially helpfull and kind to me through direct contact....I think it matches!

Ah, I just reread your post. I am sorry, I really didn't understand at the time what you were saying. Kind of looked like you had accidentially posted to this (I occasionly have multiple replies up at one time). Again my apologies.

Well i know a guy well hiding in the shades. He is a very good modeller, crazy dioramist, and master on groundwork and vegetation stuff. He is a true friend, a brother i can say, and he has never never, denied helped to anyone. Further more he assists without being asked for , sending stuff, finding reference, and whatever a friend could ask., he is also a sentimental rock in any case u need him.
so my vote goes to
Jackhammer81 Mr Kevin Gardner. (and a handsome guy u ladies
Today also is his BIRTHDAY - Happy Birthday Kevin

I also nominate Kevin Gardner aka Jackhammer81 and also known Captain Jack by other pirates. :-)
He is one of the best diorama modelers I have ever seen and also very talented article author. Besides he can add butterflies to his dioramas
...and I have to make him happy because he is with my Sister.. LOL.
Happy birthday Brother Kevin.

Hi there
I nominate CRS. Chuck does an incredible amount of work behind the scenes for the Aircraft section. The hours he puts in helping other members and the support and wise words he gives me are truly invaluable!
All the best
Rowan

Never an easy choice because there are so many helpful and kind people on the site. For a change Im going to nominate somebody who has inspired me quite a bit over the last few months and has got me back to building dios again, rather than simple bases.
Carlos "Blockhaus" Elias is my nomination.
I guess he also falls into the nice guy and very helpful category as well.

This gets harder every month. I have to say I don't have as much contact with the other members who are being nominated as I do with my own personal choice, but I'm sure they are well deserving. It's really an honor just to be nominated. I'm going with Garrybeebe, also for all of his work over on the Warships forum.

MongoMel for me this month.
Aside from the help and positive attitude he doles out on a regular basis, he took the initiative to keep the ball rolling on the figure retrospective idea as regular feature.

This month i'd like to nominate a member who always is one of the first to respond and have a quick answer to most armor and helicopter questions. So this month i'd like to throw a vote into the hat towards Gino ( Heavyarty ) Quintiliani

As always an excellent selection of members .....
And all well deserving, each and everyone.
But this month I must go with
Gary BeeBee ........ Even though I maybe a little late adding this.
I believe it would be a fitting tribute to his memory.
